Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve brick red hue. Aromas of very ripe plum, black cherry, ripe strawberry & anise. The palate displays excellent weight with dark rich flavours of blackberry, plum, anise, spice & cedar delivering an excellent power wave of flavour. Fine grained very smooth tannins with long aftertaste of black cherry, anise & spice. A rich example of Adelaide Hills pinot noir. Drink through to 2016. Alc - 14.5% Try this with wild mushroom risotto. |
